How long will it take for the switch to “take effect?”

After your account is verified, Oncor will get a notification that you have switched. There will be no interruption in service.

Can I pay my bill online?

Yes. Upon enrollment you will be given all the details regarding your option to pay your bill online. You will be provided website access to all details regarding your account including usage history, reward point amounts, and all bill pay options.
